Community Christmas Celebration

Experience Christmas in a unique way by attending the Sixth Annual Community Christmas Celebration on Friday December 14th and Saturday, December 15th. The free event will be open between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm at the Seattle Stake Center in Burien, Washington.

The theme, "The Light of Christmas", extends an invitation to members of the community from all faiths and backgrounds to come and share the peace and joy of Christmas through music and art.

In addition to sacred art, childrens activities, and refreshments,
musical performances will be featured every half hour, including

* Instrumentalists from the Highline Symphonic Band
* Soloists from Seattle entertainment venues
* Choirs from Tongan and  Samoan communities
* Mount Rainier High School elite choir
* John F. Kennedy Catholic High School string orchestra
* The Spirit of Sound Singers barbershop style choir
* The Seattle Stake Choir with renditions of select Messiah choruses

Each night the event will conclude with a community sing-a-long of treasured Christmas carols a traditional songs.

Join in this celebration of the talents within our community and experience the many ways the story of Christ's birth is told the world over.
